I now see the World for all its wonder, a cloud, a tree, the Sea. Some one once said to me, Artists take the ordinary and turn it into the extraordinary.
This is my constant quest.
I always wanted to paint, but did not have the chance until my family had flown the nest ! so, I went along and enrolled at Huddersfield adult Education Centre in Holmfirth (where they film Last of the Summer Wine)
I joined the beginners class, and at first was frightened to put pencil to paper, but once I started I couldn't stop! Now I paint every spare minute I have.
I have exhibited at Holmfirth Art week and also at the Fringe. I am also a member of The Huddersfield Art Society.
I have three Paintings exhibited at Huddersfield Art Gallery from Sat.6th.October to Sat.3rd.November 2007.
I have exhibited at Holmfirth Artweek and also at College 2006/2007
